Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

This is a special Magic Kingdom event each November and December. You buy a SEPARATE ticket that is usually about $70/person and goes on sale in the summer/fall.

The park is closed to general day guests at 7pm and the party begins with a Christmas Parade.  Tons of characters are out for meet n greets including some rarely seen characters. We saw Aurora with her PRINCE and Snow White with her prince. We rarely see these starring men.  We visited with Merida, Captain Jack Sparrow, and all the Pooh and Friends at once.

Complimentary hot chocolate and cookies were served throughout the night at many locations and Disney magic made it 'snow' on Main Street!

Since ticket sales for these events are limited and sell out the waits for rides is greatly reduced.

The event is held from 7 p.m.-midnight. but you can easily walk in at 4pm.

Pros:

  • Springs you into the Christmas spirit
  • Lots of character opportunities
  • Shorter wait times
  • Christmas Parade
Cons
  • Not as good as the Not So Scary Halloween Party. You get to dress up and get BAGS of candy at Halloween time.
  • Expensive but worthwhile for a special occasion.

  1. A fantastic Christmas party!! I loved these photos. All Christmas Eve memories flashed in my eyes after reading this post. You know our last Christmas Eve was so much fun. We celebrated it with our family and friends at one of popular event venues in NYC. It was such an amazing day!
