Snack Options on the Disney Dining Plan

The Disney Dining plan is a great way to pay for your entire trip before going and save some money while enjoying Walt Disney World!

Anyone staying on property at Walt Disney World can buy a package that includes park tickets (for any number of park days) and the dining plan. The dining plan will give each person 3 years old and older one dining credit per NIGHT you stay at Disney.

The most popular Disney Dining Plan includes the following per person/night:

  • (1) Quick Service Meal
  • (1) Snack
  • (1) Table Service Meal
  • (1) Refillable mug to use at your resort throughout the length of your stay.
While at Disney I do a lot of people watching and find some of what I see people wasting snack credits on CRAZY!  Snack credits can be found throughout the resorts and all the parks. They are designated with this sign:
Generally, snacks are items less than $5.00. You can always ask cast members for help in identifying which items are considered snack items for the dining plan.

I have some favorites:

This wonderful treat is a Dole Whip Float at Magic Kingdom as you enter Adventureland.
These is a new cool treat back in Fantasyland at Gaston's Pub.  This Snack option is a LeFou's Brew...cream soda meets fruity flavors with apple slush...delicious and so refreshing on humid Florida days!

Freshly made CARAMEL corn at EPCOT's Germany pavillion...yum to all snack options in this shop.

A delicious fair time food is found as you enter Adventureland in Magic Kingdom, these Funnel Cakes are considered a snack option! Fried Goodness!

A client favorite sent in by frequent flyer, Christine Holcroft is the new Cake Pops at Goofy's Confectionary!
Lauren and Luke Holcroft are showing off their snack choices, the cake pop is on the left!

These are all great finds but I also found some ridiculous snack options...

  • Fig Newtons
  • Granola Bars
  • Bananas
  • Apples
Fine, you are healthier than me and you want a banana...pay the $1 and keep your snack credit for something you really NEED...like something made out of mostly sugar....your on vacation enjoy something delicious!
